BRC Autogas Morning Switch Over LPG Problem
I have a Mercedes ML 350 with BRC LPG conversion which until recently, for the last 23k miles worked without a hiccup and now started to play about.
The car was running rough when switching over from petrol to gas first thing in the morning or after being parked up for long period of time.
Taking the vehicle to BRC Autogas conversion centre they have advised me that a couple of LPG injectors are faulty they are not performing well and they will need replacing. The lpg injector failure was put down to heavy ends ( oily type substance) in gas, or dirt and since it is down to fuel, not covered under warranty.
Quote of £288 was given for replacement lpg injectors, service and retune!
I thought that was a lot of money for a lpg system that is supposed to be without problems, especially after handing over £1400 for initial LPG conversion just over 18 months ago. I started to do research on various lpg and propane forums and came across this site and the lpg injector repair cleaner. After speaking to advisor, I was pointed to STEP by STEP guide and having found the application process easy, purchased ic12 lpg service kit which include autogas injector cleaner ic12 100ml, 16x12x12 lpg filter and correct size clips for the job.
Packet arrived the NEXT DAY!!!
On the weekend with the help of ic12 application video guide, followed the process and after 15 minutes the car was running smooth again and for tenth of quoted repair bill!
After having covered 750 miles now, the morning petrol lpg switch over problem has disappeared and my mpg has gone up by 2 mpg.

Autogas Rough Uneven Idle, Sorted!
After speaking to you I later found the engine was running well on gas, but the idle was uneven as before. It did change over to gas happily after standing for nearly 3hrs on a very cold day.
I had used the IC12 in 20ml doses, thinking the 100ml was good for 4 x 25ml doses for an eight when I have only six cylinders, leaving a final 20ml dose which I applied when the unit was hot after returning from the trip above. I have not used the car since last Sunday until this morning, when it was 0’C or freezing point. I started the car on petrol as usual and was able to change over to lpg without issue once I had travelled around half a mile, there is no way that would have worked a week ago. This morning the idle was fine, so hopefully I have now flushed all the gunge away!

Propane Converted BMW X5 Fuel Consumption Fixed
My Propane Converted BMW X5 had not been running properly for some time. I can only describe it as lumpy and mileage was lousy. I used the ic12 propane injector cleaner in the propane injectors and it now runs smoothly and drinks much less fuel.
I will now be using this every time I have the propane side of things serviced.
Grand Cherokee LPG hunting on idle sorted
I have just changed the LPG filters and treated my Jeep Cherokee with IC12 this morning. It has completely transformed the running on gas – it actually idles better than it has ever done in the 7 years it has been lpg converted. It always hunted on idle, prompting comment from the MOT tester in the past, but not any more. I will certainly be considering using this LPG Injector Cleaner as preventative maintenance in future. I imagine a one shot treatment annually would keep things clean.

Prins Keihin Autogas Injector Rail Problems Solved
I applied ic12 to the Prins Keihin lpg injector rail as per the simple instructions on the website and what a difference. Its like a different car. I only wish I had done this sooner.
